 Achieving Infinite Sandcarved Detailing
MonuMask®, a new product from IKONICS Imaging, makes it possible to create photoresist for use in sandcarving that allows artists to create their own designs that include incredible details. The patterns can be created using photographs or other graphic sources. This product was put to incredible use in a project commissioned by the Memorial Library in Azle, Texas, to produce sandcarved glass panels that would portray likenesses of some of the town’s founding citizens.
