Vanities and Vanitas
Fred DiFrenzi helped pioneer the concept of elegant, weightless, free-standing art bowls rather than the conventional, clunky porcelain basins when he was serving as chief designer of VitraMax Group. He also produced an eye-opening, one-piece, vast-glass bathroom vanity top with integrated sink, an upscale bar counter made of cast glass, eccentric cast-glass shower doors, and liturgical items. Today, DiFrenzi has opted out of the corporate world that put many of his designs in far-flung markets and has returned to the life of a studio artist.
