Thomas Müller-Litz and the Glass Traditions of Lauscha
Montage is an advanced glassblowing technique that originated in Lauscha, Germany, and has now been adopted worldwide. Thomas Müller-Litz, like other Lauschan artists, has access to a family of colored tubing that is unparalleled anywhere on the planet, and he uses it to produce glass art that carries on the father-to-son flameworking tradition of his family that spans well over four hundred years.
