Winter 2004

Salt Box Studio
Jerry Deitemeyer started Salt Box Studio almost thirty years ago as an extension of his stained glass hobby, operating the studio workshop out of his salt box–styled barn in Northboro, Massachusetts. Daughter Jane Martin started working with her dad twenty years ago as a part-time teacher of glass classes and has been running the studio for the past four years. After moving Salt Box Studio to the center of town, which is part of a redeveloping business and industrial district, Jane and long-time colleague, Nick Mazzamurro, began marketing after-work classes to people in nearby office buildings.
