Fall 2009
Williams & Byrne
David Williams and Stephen Byrne, specialists in painted and silver-stained glass for select commissions in the United Kingdom and Europe, find fulfillment in creating designs that are specific to their context. Each of the artists brings his own distinctive background and experience to the studio—David a degree in fine art and Stephen a doctorate and several years spent as a business troubleshooter in London. Five years into their own studio, they have settled on a working style that is both collaborative and challenging.
