The Minnesota State Fair Glass Competition—Increasing the Public’s Awareness of Glass Art
Over the years, the state of Minnesota has demonstrated a strong interest in glass art and craft education in hundreds of its institutions, including community arts centers, colleges, adult education programs, and junior and senior high schools. This interest has developed into a very dedicated professional community. The Minnesota State Fair is seeking to expand this interest even more by getting glass artists and crafters interested in being part of the fair’s Creative Activities competitions.
